A lover of all things old and new, Katie Gibson’s design aesthetic is influenced by her southern roots, blended with clean, classic European inspiration to create a space that appears relaxed yet timeless and sophisticated.

Some common threads in her work are her love of soft colors, rich fabrics and patterns, and the use of one-of-a-kind pieces that together create a special home for her clients.

Katie’s love for design can be traced back to her childhood when she would sit in on meetings with her mother and family’s interior designer. Katie pursued her design dream while attending the University of Georgia, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s in Art and Art History. This pairing seemed natural to Katie, who loved following the trends of interior design and architecture through the history of art. Upon graduating, she moved back to Nashville and began working under Jonathan Savage, owner and lead designer of Savage Interior Design. After three years of being submerged into the business in one of the top firms in the city, Katie opened the doors to her own company, Katie Gibson Interiors, in May of 2014.

Katie loves working to transform a client’s vision into a reality, her desire to create a unique space for each client as well as her ability to understand their needs has given her the opportunity to work on several projects, big and small, ranging in style.
